COVID-19 Update

A statement from David Murray, Interim President & CEO, and Dr. Lenka Snajdrova, Chief of Staff:

A patient being treated at the North Shore Health Network (NSHN) for COVID-19 has passed away.  On behalf of our entire organization, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time.

The workers and providers of NSHN continue to offer our communities compassionate and quality health care throughout these extraordinary times. We are committed to working with our health care partners, including Algoma Public Health, as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic to protect the safety of our workers, patients, residents, clients and communities. NSHN encourages everyone to remain vigilant in following public health guidelines such as hand hygiene, masking, and physical distancing.
