ABOUT OUR LABORATORY DEPARTMENT

Laboratory Services are a crucial part of any hospital, as accurate results play a significant role in patient, resident and client care. At least 70% of a Provider's treatment decisions are based on lab results. Our services benefit the entire community, including patients/residents/clients, Providers, nursing staff, and other health professionals.

The Laboratory at NSHN’s Blind River site offers a range of essential services conducted by licensed medical laboratory technologists, including:

• biochemistry

• hematology

• transfusion medicine

Our dedicated team of employees provides round-the-clock coverage for emergencies. We also collaborate with other facilities and medical specialists, ensuring your health is in good hands.
